New England Division (AIHL)
The AIHL's New England Division was formed in 2008 as part of the Eastern Conference in the creation of the league. All six teams are within 191 miles of each other.

Creation
- The New England Division is formed as a result of AIHL creation
- The Boston Swamp Rats, Hartford Fire Ants, Long Island 495ers, and New Jersey Surge were added as charter members, joining from the PIHA
- The Massachusetts Mulissha and Suffolk Sharks were added as expansion teams.
