Navrachana School

Navrachana School is a coeducational English Medium private school serving grades Lower Kindergarten to 12.A school later also turned into Navrachana University in Baroda. It is located in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

Overview

It is the first part of Navrachana Education Society started by Mrs Savita Amin and now run by Mrs Tejal Amin in 1965. Currently it has a strength of around 3000 students and 150 teachers. The school is located in the Sama locality of Baroda city.

History

Navrachana was established in 1967. Every year students of the institute secure top spots in the board exams conducted by the boards with which the schools are affiliated. The school has honour of winning national awards from the President of India.

• Navrachana School-Sama Road :

A modest start. It was established 1967, 2200 Students, affiliated to CBSE.

• Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya :

Later the School started with Gujarat Board which was established 1999, 1200 students, Affiliated to Gujarat Board of Secondary Education.

• Navrachana College of Education :

In its search of excellence Navrachana College of Education was established 2004, 100 Trainee Tutors, affiliated to S.N.D.T. Women's University.

• Navrachana International School :

Along with the change in society it soon acquired International status when it Internationl School was established 2003, 700 students, affiliated to University of Cambridge international Examination (CIE), UK, International Bacculaureate Organisation (IBO) Geneva & Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSC), New Delhi.

• Navrachana Navprema Project :

Development is unending street meeting needs of contemporary Indian Society it started with nn Institution for underpriviledged, children started in 2002, 300 student, affiliated to NIOS.

• Navrachana Sports Academy :

Education and Sports go together at Navrachana Sports Academy. It is providing training in various indoor & outdoor sports.

• Navrachana Eklavya Model Residential School :

It is A Government of India Project for tribal Children, established in 2007 and managed by NES.

• Navrachana University :

In its search of excellence for education it is the only Pre primary School in Gujarat to have turned into University. In 2009 Navrachana Education society is being granted university status. Undergraduate courses like integrated B.Sc., B.Ed. and B.C.A runs at Navrachana University .

Events

• The school qualified for the nationals of the football and basketball (girls)
• The school is currently organising "RAZZMATAZZ" a national level ballet and theatre festival
• The boys Football team qualified for the nationals to be held at Meerut
