Mohammad Mahtab Alam

Mohammad Mahtab Alam (29 Nov 1988) is an Indian Politician and National General Secretary Youth RJD.
Personal life
Mohammad Mahtab Alam was born in Siwan, Bihar completed his schooling in Patna later he went to Pune for higher education where he pursued MBA degree from Symbiosis Institute. His father is government employee and grandfather was member of the Bihar Labour Union. After post-graduation he was back to Patna and met Lalu Prasad Yadav’s eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav, joined Yadav's political party Rashtriya Janata Dal and started his political journey.
Work and contribution
Mohammad Mahtab Alam is a young political leader and active member of Rashtriya Janata Dal. During lockdown of COVID-19 first wave he helped thousands of migrate to brought their hometown Bihar, he arranged food and transportation for helpless migrate who came from Gujrat and Hyderabad. He is also raised his voice for adequate treatment for deprived people. Towards the social activity he distributed masks and sanitizers among the masses in Siwan Bihar during the COVID-19 pandemic, to protect from virus sanitization program was organized by him in different part of district, he also worked on to make ensure the oxygen cylinders, medicines and hospital beds to the required patients during the peak time of COVID-19 second wave. He was also shown his concern for labours of Bihar while lockdown was declared many workers was unemployed and went back to home town from many metro city and on that time unemployment was increased.
Award Nomination
Due to social work activity at time of pandemic Mohammad Mahtab Alam was nominated for the Dainik Jagran Inext Award 2021 for his exemplary work.
