Minnesota Arabian Horse Association
The Minnesota Arabian Horse Association (MAHA) was founded in 1955 for anyone associated with the Arabian Horse in Minnesota. These people include trainers, breeders, exhibitors of all levels, and anyone with a love for Arabian horses. The Arabian Horse Association officially recognizes The Minnesota Arabian Horse Association. A membership with MAHA automatically gains you a membership in region 10 of the Arabian Horse Association.
The Arabian Horse
Arabian Horses originated in the Middle East and are easily identifiable by their high tail carriage and dished face. They are hot blooded horses, so they tend to be more spirited, but are very intelligent. They are also highly versatile, which makes them one of the most popular horse breeds. An Arabian endurance race is a 24 hour 100 mile race that is completed through an extended trot. Another way to compete is through competitive trail riding, ride and tie, or mounted or orienteering.
