Milik University - Medical International Learning Institute at St. Kitts

Medical International Learning Institute at St. Kitts - Milik University was founded 2003 by Dr. Nagy Milik, and is located on the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts.

The School of Medicine enrolls classes two times a year: January, and September. Students complete their didactic education on the island in four semesters and upon successful completion, students move onto a pre-clinical fifth semester in the United States. After completing the 5th semester, students sit for the USMLE Step 1 exam, and then continue on in clinical clerkships at teaching hospitals throughout the United States. Upon completion of the curriculum, similar to that of US medical schools, students must pass the USMLE Step 2 CS and USMLE Step 2 CK, prior to graduation.

Milik university is listed with International Medical Education directory (IMED), as well as Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research.

Dr. Nagy Milik has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon and a physician for over 30 years. Dr. Milik has been teaching medicine at several medical schools in the Caribbean for the past 10 years.

The institute developed a curriculum which merits the approval of the St. Christopher and Nevis Accreditation Board and conform with accepted international standards in fields recognised by international medical institutions and in particular universities in the United States and the Caribbean.
