Milad (entrepreneur)

Al Hasan Milad (born 11 February 2000) is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur, atheist and online activist. He received EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award and nominated by Global Youth Parliament Award 2024.

He insulted the holy book of Muslims, Al-Quran, while arguing for not changing the national anthem of Bangladesh 'Amar Sonar Bangla' written by Rabindranath Tagore and was arrested.

Early life and Education

Milad was born on February 11, 2000 in Sylhet district. He passed SSC from Ranaping Adarsh ​​High School, completed HSC from Syed Nabib Ali College. Currently studying in the Department of Law, Metropolitan University, Sylhet.

Controversy

Milad posts on Facebook insulting Islam, Al-Quran, Prophet. Later, when he surrendered to the army, the army and police brought him to the area. He repents in front of thousands of people. During the 2024 Bangladesh vs India cricket match, he launched a cyber attack against India on Twitter and came under fire for supporting Pakistani actress Shehar Shenwari.
