Michael Joseph Ormond

Michael Joseph Ormond is an American director, stage manager, in the NYC area.

He recently finished a 4 1/2 month run of the critically acclaimed revival of Room Service, at the Soho PlayHouse (produced by Darren Lee Cole)., followed by serving as General Manager for the Wonderland One Act Festival . His emphasis in directing has focused on the works of Eugene O'Neill. Michael recently directed Savage Light, a new MusicAL AbOUT the life of Paul Gauguin. Other credits include, Gene & Aggie (World Premiere 2003), Beyond The Horizon, Insible Child , Anna Christie, ‘Ile, Ah Wilderness, As Is, Mornings At Seven, The Glass Menagerie, Cex and The Sity-The Parody , Chosen-The Musical (World Premiere-Suzanne McCoy), The Hobbit and others. His acting credits include, A Little Night Music (Henrik), The Glass Menagerie (Gentlemen Caller), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour) as well as A Chorus Line, Tenderloin, Mousetrap, Kismet, NYSTIâ€,,s A Tale of Cinderella, Silver Skates and Treasure Island. . He is currently involved with writer and composer/lyricist Christopher Massimine's new 2-act musical, "Beyond the Lines of Glory", to be performed 2008 in NYC.
