Meridian KSI
Meridian KSI, now known as Meridian LLC is a division of Visionary Integration Professionals based in Chantilly, Virginia USA. Meridian Knowledge Solutions Inc. (Meridian KSI or MKSI) was founded in 1997 by CEO Paul Somerville, Elizabeth Harris, Malcolm Patel, David DeVaux and Roy Haythorn. In late 2005 the five original founders began to approach other companies who might have been interested in purchasing Meridian KSI. In October 2006 California based Visionary Integration Professionals, a mid-sized consulting company, agreed to purchase Meridian KSI for an undisclosed sum. The purchase forced Meridian KSI to change its name to Meridian LLC for legal reasons.
The flagship product, the Meridian Knowledge Centre, is a database driven learning management system based either on SQL or Oracle frameworks. The product itself is written in ASP. The product is advertised as the leading SCORM-compliant LMS product on the market today. In addition to SCORM support the product also supports AICC and other common online courseware formats. The current version of the Knowledge Centre software is Version 6.0.
