Light Children

Light Children is a graphic novel trilogy written by Andy Horner and illustrated by Kyle T. Webster. The idea for the story was developed in 1996 by Andy when he spotted an interesting tourist attraction while on a college road trip. Today, the initially small story concept has developed into an epic, designed to appeal to fans of the long graphic novel format, as well as Tolkien and CS Lewis readers.

The creators launched a website in January of 2007 to track the process of writing and illustrating the first book, giving visitors an in-depth look at early character development sketches and page art. Visitor feedback is encouraged on the site, and a production blog is updated several times a month.

Early press coverage and a positive response to the project at the 2007 Heroes Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina pushed the creators to move up The Release date of the first book, entitled "Invalid" to January 1, 2008.
