Me Cure is a privately owned, Nigerian based pharmaceutical and clinical diagnostic company founded in 2006.
Company Info
Me Cure is a multinational company with interests in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, preventive and emergency care with the head quarters in Lagos, Nigeria and diagnostic centers across the country. Me Cure has registered entities in the U.S., UAE and India.
In 2009, Me Cure Healthcare Limited inaugurated its first diagnostic center for the city of Lagos. The diagnostic center ran 2500 tests under one roof.
In 2011 Me Cure Healthcare Limited, inaugurated its sixth diagnostic center, covering the states of Abia, Ibadan, Kano & Ondo, of which two were public private partnerships with the state governments.
In 2012, Me Cure Healthcare Limited established its seventh diagnostic center in Lekki, Lagos and also inaugurated its eye center at Oshodi, Lagos. Me Cure signed an "Strategic Alliance Agreement" with General Electric Healthcare, Nigeria (GEHC) to setup stand alone diagnostic center in Nigeria.
In October, 2013, Me Cure signed a contract with Johns Hopkins International (JHI) in achieving its general objective of establishing a world-class eye care center in Nigeria. JHI with Wilmer Eye Institute will focus its knowledge, resources and experience in developing and strengthening three key care areas of ophthalmology: clinical operations, management of the ophthalmic facilities, and patient safety and quality of care.
In August 2014, Me Cure We Care Limited was formed and operations began.
Future expansion
The Me Cure oncology center, is under construction and will be ready by mid 2015. Me Cure plans on bringing the 1st Cyclotron and PET CT to the region. This will be a fully comprehensive oncology center and the services will range from diagnosis to medical oncology and radiation oncology.
The Me Cure We Care, E-Commerce platform will be ready to launch by the end of 2014. Me Cure plans to install 101 Smarte Carte Lockers within the city of Lagos.
