Matthew G. Devost

Matthew G. Devost, born in 1972 in Burlington, is a technologist, entrepreneur, and international security expert specializing in counterterrorism, critical infrastructure protection, intelligence, risk management and cyber-security issues (cyberterrorism, information warfare, and network security).

Devost is best known for having founded and operated [...] Research Center from 1996-2008. In 2007, TRC became a subsidiary of Total Intelligence Solutions where Devost served as President until 2008.

Devost is also the co-author of several academic papers and books including Threats in the Age of Obama, Cyberadversary Characterization, and the award winning "Information [...]: Can You Trust Your Toaster?". He was also a contributor to [...]: Opposing Viewpoints (2000)

In 2004, Mr. Devost was appointed to the Defense Science Board Task Force on Critical Homeland Infrastructure Protection to provide advice to the Department Of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Devost serves as a Senior Advisor to the Airline Pilots Association National Security Committee, was a founding Director of the Cyber Conflict Studies Association, and is and adjunct member of the Los Angeles [...] Early Warning Group.

Devost is also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University.
