Husain, Bhupen Khakhar, F. N. Souza and N. S. Bendre were displayed in the BMW Lounge and were reportedly linked to the gallery.

Following enquiries by the publication, the artworks were removed from display. The fair organisers stated that the works had not gone through the official gallery application and review process.
