Mary Talley Bowden

Mary Talley Bowden is a physician. After having been the target of multiple accusations related to her medical practice, in 2026, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton made a statement committing to support her positions and rights.

In 2023, the Texas Medical Board filed a complaint against Bowden for reasons including prescribing medicine without first meeting patients and for failing to keep privacy in physician–patient privilege.

Houston Methodist Hospital suspended Bowden from employment as a physician while accusing her of spreading vaccine misinformation and COVID-19 misinformation.

After prescribing Ivermectin during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, Bowden became the target of medical accusations.

Bowden is an ear, nose, and throat physician. She studied medicine at both University of Texas and Stanford University.
