On 26 February 2012, Jimmy Kimmel released a fake trailer called Movie: the movie starring an ensemble cast including Jessica Alba, Antonio Banderas, Edward Norton, Josh Brolin, Colin Farrell, Charlize Theron, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Gary Oldman, Cameron Diaz, Samuel L. Jackson, Emily Blunt, John Goodman, Kate Beckinsale, Danny DeVito, Don Cheadle, Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren, Christoph Waltz and Matt Damon among others.

On 27 February 2012, it was released a behind the scenes video. George Clooney and Martin Scorsese were part of the trailer too, and in the behind the scenes video, Clooney decides to make a short film starring Scorsese. Before the short film was showed, there was an interview of Clooney talking AbOUT the short film. He described it as "a passion project".

Release

The short film was released on YouTube as part of Jimmy Kimmel's video, Making the Movie: The Making of Movie: The Movie, on February 27, 2012. It currently has more than 500,000 views.
