Martial Law Unit Citation Badge
The Martial Law Unit Citation Badge also known as the "Martial Law Ribbon" is awarded by President, Republic of the Philippines through the Chief of Staff, Armed Forces of the Philippines and Chief, Philippine National Police to Military and Police Personnel and cadets who manifested patriotism and meritorious duty during the proclamation of Martial Law between 1971 to 1981.
Description
The ribbon is rectangular in shape with Red, Purple and Green stripes. The Red signifies the time when the Philippines experienced violent turmoils. The Purple signifies loyalty to the constitution and the current government, and the Green color signifies restoration to normal condition.
