Margaret Fleming (writer)

Margaret Erin Fleming (born July 5, 1992) is an American author, entrepreneur and professional model. She is the founder of the boutique hospitality company Caraton Hospitality and the author of the lifestyle and etiquette guide The Art of Entertaining: A Guide to Hospitality, Food, Decor & More (2023).

Early life and education

Fleming was born in 1992 in Houston, Texas, and is of Irish descent.She grew up in Houston, where she competed in swimming, volleyball, track and soccer, and represented her high school in state-level soccer.

Fleming earned an undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School in 2021.

Early career

Early in her career, Fleming worked at the financial services firm Morgan Stanley and subsequently joined Tesla, Inc. in operations and planning during an early expansion phase of the company. She is also the founder of Caraton Hospitality.

Writing

In 2023, Fleming published The Art of Entertaining: A Guide to Hospitality, Food, Decor & More, a digital lifestyle guide covering modern manners, hosting, food and home décor.

Modelling

Alongside her writing and business activities, Fleming works as a professional model. She has appeared in campaigns for brands including Shiseido, Ariat, Athleta (the athleisure line of Gap Inc.) and Everyday Yoga, and her work has been featured in international lifestyle and health publications such as Max Health & Beauty and Showbiz.
