Mafizul Islam

'''Mafizul Islam''' is a First class and List A [[cricketer]] from [[Bangladesh]]. A left handed batsman and slow left arm orthodox bowler, he is sometimes known by his nickname Biplob. He made his first class debut for [[Dhaka Metropolis]] in 2000/01 and played for Barisal Division in 2001/02.

He scored his only first class fifty, 58, against Chittagong Division and recorded a list A half century, 54, against [[Chittagong Division]]. On 6th January 2001 he won the man of the match award in the final of the Green Delta National Cricket League playing for [[Dhaka Metropolis]] against [[Biman Bangladesh Airlines]] at the [[Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium]], [[Dhaka]].
