MADWalk-The Fashion Music Project

MadWalk — The Fashion Music Project is a project started by accomplished and amateur Greek fashion designers of MAD TV who appears with the greatest Greek performers in a unique event that combines dynamic Live Performances with subversive Fashion Shows.

MadWalk 2011

On February 2, 2011, the first Madwalk took place in Athens, Greece at the Faliro Sports Pavilion Arena. Organized by Vodafone, the innovative event was a spectacular amalgamation between fashion and music. Sixteen popular artists and elite Greek fashion designers presented a unique show that combined live musical performances with a fashion show.

Tamta opened the show with the song "Tonight", which was specifically penned for the event by Claydee and Playmen. Her stage costume featured a pantsuit on the left side and a white wedding dress on the right. Tamta and fashion icon Vicky Kaya hosted the show. Kaya emerged from a vintage Mercedes convertible and walked down the catwalk before joining Tamta for their presenting duties. OtherView 's interpretations of the 'Runaway' and 'Hit the Road Jack' and Shaya 's 'In your Eyes' closed the show.

Mad TV donated part of the earnings to ELPIDA, a Greek organization that supports children with cancer.

MadWalk 2012

Vodaphone's second MadWalk (2012) featured nine top artists and designers Vicky Kaya, Mary Sinatsaki and guest host Kostas Martakis hosted the show. The event took place at the Faliro Sports Pavilion Arena in Athens.

The show's opening featured a video of Mark Angelo feat Ifigenia Atkinson with the song "Breakdown". Immediately after, Kostas Martakis performed his interpretation of the song "Entasi (Greek: Ένταση)" with Vicky Kaya and Mairi Synatsaki. For the finale, the band Vegas performed the song "For You"(Greek: Για 'σένα)" and Melisses sang their interpretaiton of "Oti afises miso (Greek: Ότι άφησες μισό)", and Goin 'Through's song «Falling».

MadWalk 2013

For the third year in a row, MadWalk 2013 Edition, sponsored by Coca Cola Lite, was successfully hosted by Vicky Kaya and Mairi Synatsaki. This year the show took place at the "Athinon Arena" in Athens. The number of the performers increased to 19 - the highest number of singers on stage for Athion Arena till date.

For the first time, Madwalk offered the opportunity to some fans to participate in the BSB Red Dress Competition. The winners had the chance to walk down the catwalk of this fashion event.

Mad Walk 2014

Mad Walk (2014) by Coca-Cola Light was hosted by Mairi Sinatsaki. This time nobody else co-hosted the event, which took place at the Metropolitan Expo Venue in Athens all the designers being women.

For the second year running, Mad Walk offered the opportunity to some lucky fans to win prizes through the "BSB Red Dress Competition". This year though, they did not need to walk down the catwalk, but instead had the chance to win a professional makeup by Maria Sinatsaki's personal stylist. The BSB Red Dress catwalk was represented by the singers Courtney, Ivi Adamou and Elisavet Spanou.

Hosts

Mistresses of the first Fashion Music Project in 2011 where the fashion icons, Vicky Kaya and Tamta. For the second year Mad TV decided that the MAD presenter Mairi Synatsaki would be ideal for the Fashion Music Project, so Vicky Kaya presented the event for the two following years (2012-2013) . In 2014, Mairi Synatsaki was the hostess for the show.
