Lupine Travel is a budget British travel company based in Wigan, United Kingdom. Established in 2007, the agency specializes in tourism to "unusual" destinations, including North Korea, Iraqi Kurdistan, Iran, Somaliland, Chernobyl, Cuba and Afghanistan. For its itineraries, Lupine has received substantial international media coverage.

History

Lupine Travel was established by Dylan Harris in 2007, aiming to promote independent and affordable travel to unique destinations.

North Korea itineraries

Lupine's most notable itinerary has been its North Korea tours, which it runs monthly. The firm attracted international media attention for its packages again in 2016 where two Australians, having joined a Lupine tour, claimed to have "tricked" the country into entering an international golf competition. Lupine Travel's North Korea tours have had an exceptional safety record, with a history of zero accidents or incidents in the country
