Lukas Gabric
Lukas Gabric (born 1987) is an Austrian tenor saxophonist, composer, musicologist and author.
Early life and education
Gabric holds a PhD in musicology from City University of New York.
Professional career
In 2013, Gabric was among the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition's semifinalists.
Since 2018, he has been hosting the Carinthian International Jazz Award, which has drawn competitors from 40 nations.
In 2024, Gabric released Moving On.
Lukas Gabric is an associate professor at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China, and a Henri SELMER Paris and D'Addario Woodwinds artist.
