LUElinks was started when a group of users from the website, GameFAQs, got fed up with the owner's harsh rules of the message board system. A user from a popular forum on GameFAQs, who we know as "LlamaGuy," began LUElinks with one thing in mind: to begin a fun community with a very relaxed Terms of Service. Needless to say, he succeeded.

Content of LUElinks

LUElinks contains two main sections - a message board system, and a system that allows users to post links and have others comment on them. The links are GeneRally to something of great interest or use, and there is a voting system in place for the community to use in order to raise a link's "rank."

You can pretty much talk AbOUT or link to anything you want to on LUElinks - this includes topics ranging from [...], things of an illegal nature or things of a highly offensive nature - to things such as pictures of kittens, help with problems one is having in life, or pretty much anything SomeOne wants to talk about.

Statistics of LUElinks

LUElinks now has over 8,000 individual users, over 40,000 links posted, and about 2.5 million messages posted. The site averages about 300-500 registered users online at any given time. Alexa.com ranks LUElinks as # 136,277 in traffic received, although this number can be debated.
