Love & Death (album)

'Love & Death' is a series of bootleged recordings by the major alternative rock group Nirvana that includes b-sides, demo recordings, live songs, and other rare and unreleased tracks by the band. Love & Death CD 1 was first released on the internet in 2006 and was downloaded quickly, nearly as much as The Famous Outcesticide bootleg series. In early 2007, the next volume, Love & Death CD 2, was released with great feedback from users. The third installment is due to be released in September 2007, and is promised to hold at least 5 unreleased recordings. The bootleg, which has not yet been released, is thought to have been aborted by the company. The bootlegs even include early and rare recordings by Nirvana's frontman Kurt Cobain. Most of the songwriting credits goes to Nirvana, the publishers' website shows that some songs were written by other artists such as Ric Ocasek from the Cars and numerous covers from The Beatles.

Fakes and mislabels

Throughout the two discs, there are numerous fakes and mislabels. It is thought that since people who have obtained the bootleg suddenly discovered that most tracks were fake, that the third bootleg was either being re-edited or in a severe case, aborted. No word has yet arisen on how long it will take to be release, if it is at all.
