History
Gemini days (1997-1999)
Gemini was a High School Band formed in 1997 by Dries van Rijn (guitar and backing vocals), Kan-Bur Pradesh (keyboards and leading vocals) and Fabian Celli (drums). Their main influences were Queen, Led Zeppelin and Prodigy. They started rehearsals and made a few gigs before Celli left the band to pursue new ways in his artistic career.
Bitter Rhye Sea days (1999-2001)
After a brief stint with the superstar multi-instrumentalist Johnny Martin, they recruited a new backing band, with the Milan-born bassist Alex Zappa and the Rome-born drummer Eddie Crivelli. The band had it most successful years in this formation, with their first gig in Europe, four NiGHTS in a full-packed ginasium in Paris. After that, the band disbanded. Alex Zappa and Eddie Crivelli formed a Frank Zappa cover band and Dries van Rijn and Kan-Bur Pradesh pursued solo careers.
SouthWinds days (2001-2007)
Dries van Rijn and Kan-Bur Pradesh worked together a few times between 2001 and 2007. These works were under the name SouthWinds. No gigs were made in this era, just a few songs recorded.
Lord Driven days (2007-Present)
After a long hiatus, Dries van Rijn and Kan-Bur Pradesh decided to work together full-time again. Their new band is called Lord Driven and they are working in their first album A Few Roots Replanted, that will have thirteen covers from artists that have influenced their music in the past decade.
