Lola Danza

Lola Danza, born in Fort Polk, Louisiana is an American jazz, avant garde vocalist, improvisor and composer.

Ms. Danza has a four-octave range and a vast array of vocal technique. Lola’s music and compositions encompass myriad musical styles that span the world: from Asia to Latin America and including the influences of classical, jazz, Avant garde, contemporary American, gypsy, folk, and Flamenco music.

Lola went to Berklee College of Music on scholarship, graduating with a bachelors degree.

Ms. Danza has performed and recorded with jazz artists such as Steve Kuhn, Phil Grenadier, Mat Maneri, Ben Monder, Bob Moses, Nat Mugavero, Bob Gullotti, Luciana Souza, John Lockwood, Sheila Jordan, Kevin Mahogany, and Leni Stern.

Presently, she resides in Brooklyn, NY and performs and records.
