1- Weapon was not seen in the film, but is attributed to the character in tie-in books released in conjunction with the film.
2- Goof: In the first few shots of the Hirono-Mitsuko confrontation, Hirono was holding a Browning High-Power. It was later re-switched to a Colt M1911. (see Hirono Shimizu's image gallery)

In the film version, the government soldiers are issued with M16A2 assault rifles, and Kitano wields a Colt M1911.
