Linda Lou Taylor
Linda Lou Taylor (born 1940) is an American woman from Anderson, Indiana who recently entered the Guinness Book of Records for being the most married woman in history, having had a total of twenty-three husbands.
She wed her first husband, George Scott, when she was just sixteen and he was thirty-one. The marriage lasted seven years, which makes it her longest so far, the shortest being just thirty-six hours. She married one husband three times, eloped with a one-eyed, Mormon prisoner whom she claimed was wrongly convicted of [...], and currently has seven children, although she is estranged from all but one of them. Her last partner was Glynn "Scotty" Wolfe; the pair wed in 1996 purely so they could qualify for an entry in the Guiness Book of Records, as Scotty had already been married himself twenty-eight times before.
Linda's list of husband's even include a preacher and two gay men. She was at one time a victim of domestic violence, and has since thrown away all twenty-three of her engagement rings, although, despite now being in her late sixties, she has said that she would still marry again.
