Liliia Malanchuk

Liliia Malanchuk () is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. Competing mainly in the 53 kg and 55 kg weight classes, she won the silver medal in the women's freestyle 55 kg event at the 2026 European Wrestling Championships in Tirana, Albania. She was also the silver medallist in the 50 kg event at the 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup, the bronze medallist at the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships, and the gold medallist at the 2024 European U23 Wrestling Championships.

Career

Malanchuk competed for Ukraine in women's freestyle wrestling. In 2020, she won the silver medal in the 50 kg event at the 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup in Belgrade, Serbia. She defeated Peru's Gloria Asca Vilcapoma 10–0 and Germany's Lisa Ersel 16–7 on her way to the final, where she lost to Russia's Ekaterina Poleshchuk.

In 2021, she won the bronze medal in the women's freestyle 50 kg event at the 2021 European U23 Wrestling Championships and the silver medal in the 50 kg event at the 2021 Junior European Wrestling Championships. At the 2022 European Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary, she finished fifth in the women's freestyle 53 kg event.

In 2023, Malanchuk won the silver medal in the 53 kg event at the 2023 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Bucharest, Romania. Later that year, she won the bronze medal at the 2023 U23 World Wrestling Championships in Tirana, Albania, defeating India's Ishika in the repechage and Ekaterina Verbina in the bronze-medal match.

At the 2024 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, Malanchuk won the gold medal in the women's freestyle 53 kg event. She defeated Venera Nafikova by fall in the quarter-finals and Turkey's Şevval Çayır 11–0 by technical superiority in the semi-finals. In the final, she defeated Azerbaijan's Elnura Mammadova 13–2 to become European U23 champion.

In 2025, she placed fifth in the 53 kg event at the 2025 European Wrestling Championships and 17th at the 2025 World Wrestling Championships.

At the 2026 European Wrestling Championships in Tirana, Malanchuk won the silver medal in the women's freestyle 55 kg event. She defeated North Macedonia's Veronika Konsevich 8–0 in the quarter-finals and Turkey's Tuba Demir by fall in the semi-finals to reach the final. In the gold-medal bout, she lost 10–0 by technical superiority to Romania's Andreea Ana and finished second.
