Lilia Mai

Lilia Mai (born July 3, 1992) is an American soul singer.

Biography

She was born on July 3, 1992 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 2012 she recorded her new songs and presented them to the Cultural Center in Helsinki, Finland. In 2014, Lilia’s live performance opened the governmental concert in The Ice Palace in Russia.

She studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins in London, part of the University of the Arts London, and launched the Lilia May Boutique “The world of endless tenderness and femininity”, which deals with undergarments and dresses made from French silk and Italian lace. In London, Lilia Mai worked with Nick Ingman at the Abbey Road Studio, creating new original versions of the famous jazz songs. She moved to study jazz at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England, where she began working on her debut album Flying in Dreams. Lilia sang at the First Pushkin’s Charity Ball. She performed at the International Women Conference “East and West meet in Saint-Petersburg”. Lilia Mai graduated from the International Academy of Music named by Elena Obraztsova as a singer and performed at the International Art Festival “Elena” in the Philharmonic Hall and the Music Hall.
