Lauren Platt (Singer)

Lauren Platt (born 7 October 1997) is a singer she auditioned for season 11 of The X Factor UK. In 2010 she auditioned for the role of Louise Mitchell on EastEnders, but lost out to Brittany Papple. She is the youngest solo contestant in the competition.

Career

In 2011 Lauren was in Essex Factor and she was a runner up at 13 Years old

In 2012 Lauren was a semi-finalist on Open Mic UK two years ago.

2014: The X Factor UK

In 2014, Lauren successfully auditioned for the eleventh series of The X Factor UK, singing "How Will I Know" by Whitney Houston.She received a standing ovation and four yeses from all four judges and progressed to the bootcamp she sing "Man in the Mirror by "Michael Jackson" She then progressed to the Judges’ Houses Lauren gives her absolute all in front of new mentor, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, and guest mentor, Tinie Tempah she sing "Beneath Your Beautiful" by Emeli Sandé.
