Kilaparthy Velankanni Satish

Kilaparthy Velankanni Satish (born 19 June 1977) is an Indian businessman and the founder and chairman of the DS-MAX Group, a diversified conglomerate in residential real estate development.

Early life and education

Satish was born on 19 June 1977. He completed an undergraduate business management qualification in Visakhapatnam and later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Mysore.

Career

Satish moved to Bangalore as a young entrepreneur. Early in his career, he engaged in marketing and trading activities. In the mid-2000s, Satish shifted his focus toward real estate. He began promoting residential projects before formally incorporating DS-MAX Properties Pvt. Ltd. in 2007. The company started with two projects in its first year.

Under Satish's leadership, DS-MAX evolved from a single-focus real estate developer into a diversified group. The DS-MAX Group's core business is residential real estate, with an emphasis on affordable housing for the middle-class segment. The group diversified vertically and established businesses in allied areas, including facility management, interiors, mining, ready-mix concrete (RMC), UPVC and aluminium manufacturing, construction materials. It later expanded into non-allied sectors, including finance, commercial real estate, and healthcare services. In 2023, Satish was named "Most Respected Real Estate Leader" by Hurun.
