Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Halwara

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Halwara is a public school at Halwara, Punjab. It was opened in 1983 and since then it has gifted its students with excellent education and values. It is located in the Air Force area in Halwara. Students from all parts of India study here and it allows them to know the different cultures of India.

Annual Function 2007

The 2007 Annual Function held at the Air Force Auditorium was a big hit. Performances from different cultures made it a truly Indian show. Other performances were brilliant but the Bhangra was what stole the show.

Achievements in Sports

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2 is well known in the whole country for its athletes. Its athletes have won gold medals in many sports at the National Level. The Boys Kabaddi Team has won the first position at the National Level and the Girls Kabaddi Team won the 2nd position. Some have won Gold medals in Twaikondo at the National Level. It also hosted the Regional Kabaddi Event in 2006.

Girls Kabaddi Team: Simrat Kaur Brar, Baljit Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur,and Seema.

Shotput: Pargat Singh Brar, Paoboi Mate, Vikram Bisht

Twaikondo Champions: vikram bisht and Himani Sharma
