KEISER UNIVERSITY
MISSION
Keiser University is a regionally accredited, private, career university that provides educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels for a diverse student body in traditional, nontraditional and online delivery formats. The main campus is located in Fort Lauderdale with 14 campuses located throughout the State of Florida and internationally. Keiser University prepares graduates for careers in business, criminal justice, health care, technology, hospitality, education and career-focused general studies.
HISTORY
In 1977, Dr. Arthur Keiser and Evelyn Keiser of the Keiser family recognized the need for a career college that would serve students and Florida’s growing business and healthcare communities. Over the last 33 years, the Keiser family developed a university worthy of regional accreditation which serves approximately 17,000 students seeking doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s and associate degrees in over 50 high demand programs at its 14 campuses, the Online Division, the Graduate School and the College of Golf. In 2009, Keiser University attained Level V approval from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award doctoral degrees. Keiser University’s Graduate School offers a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and the MBA among a variety of graduate level degrees in physician’s assistant, education and criminal justice. Keiser University’s reach extends globally through its international programs including the Latin Division and educational agreements in Eastern Europe and Asia.
