Kathi Karthika

Kathi Karthika (Telugu: కత్తి కార్తీక) (born 2 January 1981) is an Indian television host and video jockey. She hosted a one of the well known-program called Dil Se Karthika and telecasted in the television channel V6 News. She is one of the 15 participants of Bigg Boss Telugu game show in Star Maa television. She is well known for her anchoring in typical telangana accent.

Early life

She was born in Hyderabad, India. She went to St. Anns High School, Secunderabad. She did her Bachelors in Architecture. She pursued her masters education in interior designing from University of Greenwich, London. She is a grand daughter of Telanagana state excise minister, PadmaRao.

Career

Kathi Karthika started working as an architect before going to the UK to pursue higher education. She worked in London for 2 years after her masters degree, before returning to Hyderabad to pursue a career on television.

She did a song in September 2017 for V6 News for Bonalu festival Dillam Bhallam which became a huge hit with over 3.4 million views on YouTube.

She started her interior design firm in September 2017 called as B Design Studios in Hyderabad.

Personal life

She is married and has a son, Dhruv (born 2008).
