Karen Makhmuryan

Karen Makhmuryan was born in 1974, Yerevan, Armenia is an Armenian director of television.

Education

He attended Yerevan High School after Grigor Narekatsi, where he earned the classes with physics-mathemathical discipline. From 1991-1997 he graduated from State Academy of theatre art and cinema (course of Prof. Kim Arzumanian).

Career

Since 1991, Makhmuryan is practicing in professional activity. He also worked in State TV of Armenia, Art 13 studio, State Agency Of Emergency Management as an CEO of information deparatment, Sharm. By Karen Makhmuryan creatded many films, advertisements and TV programms/shows. He's a one of the honored directors in Armenian TV world who brings new points of view, unique technique and manner. Karen Makhmuryan organized and broadcasted first Military parade translation of Republic of Armenia, first football direct translation from independent Armenia. He did the longest live telethone with total duration approximately 18 hours to support State Theatre of Song of Armenia to obtain necessary cash assets for reconstruction and many other works.
