Mrs Lansford performed in La Traviata with Dame Joan Sutherland in the 1960's as Flora at the Memphis Opera Theater. She was also a choice guest performer for President Elect Bill Clinton during his inauguration from years 1992-2000. During the 1960's, Mrs. Lansford was a performer on the German Opera Stage (mostly comprimario roles). During that time, she met her future husband (with whom she is still married) while still in school. She has one child with her husband who went out of show business and performing many years ago.

On the side, Mrs. Lansford is the chair of the Northeast Arkansas/Southeast Mossouri Home Chef's Club. An accomplished cook, she is renowned not only for her beautiful mezzosoprano timbre of vocal strength and diction, but also as a world renown culinary chef. In fact, she has taken home several national awards, as well as a $10,000 check for competing in a casserole cook-off with the Food Network.
