Joseph N. Cameron
Joseph Neal Cameron, aka, Joe Cameron or J. N. Cameron, (born July 25 1972) is an American short story author and poet. His flash fiction / flash prose has appeared most recently at 3:AM Magazine, a popular arts ezine. His short stories have appeared in various British journals such as Aalst and the Skrev Press publication In Pursuit of the Perfect Gourment Garam Masala, (which can be purchased at Amazon.co.uk)and in small press journals in the United States, such as Papyrus and Scael, and the annual HeavyGlow: A Journal of Flash Fiction anthology. He has forthcoming fiction at both HeavyGlow, thieves jargon and Flashquake.
Some have labeled Cameron's work as part of the "New Brutalist" movement in literature and poetry.
Cameron was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Tim and Ann Cameron. Brother to Rachael Cameron. Cameron received his B.A. in English creative writing, with a minor in philosophy. As far as it is known, Cameron is currently finishing his MFA Creative Writing thesis for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, after living in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu during most of 2007.
