Johnny Ca$h

Johnny Castaneda Jr. (August 11, 1981 - March 29, 2007) better known by his stage name Johnny Ca$h was an American rapper from Richmond, California.

Performing career

Castaneda was signed with Mac Dre's recording label Thizz Entertainment. While on the label he released his solo mixtape Thizz Nation Vol. 11 (Starring Johnny Cash). Castaneda formed the group Money Gang with fellow record label artist Rydah J. Klyde. Together they released the albums Bang Fo Bread, 2 Chain Gang Mixtape Vol. 1 and Thizz Nation Vol. 12 (Starring Money Gang).

Castaneda appeared in the films Treal T.V. 2 as a guest host and in Miami's Nation of Thizzlam.

Death

Castaneda was shot in the parking lot of the Sereno Village apartment complex in Vallejo, California. He suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. He was flown into the John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, California. He died 6 hours later at 4:03 p.m. after being removed from life support. Castaneda's death was the 6th [...] of the year.
