John Shegerian

John S. Shegerian (born November 16, 1962) is an American Entrepreneur and social issues activist, international public speaker and Chairman and CEO of Electronic Recyclers International, the nation’s largest e-recycler. John is also the founder of Addicted.com, a website designed to provide addiction recovery resources and tools for addicts, family members and friends throughout the world-wide internet community.

John serves alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger as a member of the California Commission for jobs and Economic Growth, serving on the Governor's Gang Advisory Committee. In 2008, John was the recipient of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award, which was presented by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Committee to businessmen. John has worked to provide compassionate solutions for society's problems and believing in recycling lives by providing second chances to the formerly incarcerated.

John has appeared on the CNBC Show, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, as part of a panel of well known “Least likely to Succeed Millionaires.” Alongside panel was Paul Stanley, Erin Brockovich, and Randy Couture, among others. John was also named the Clean Tech Entrepreneur of the year for Northern California by Ernst & Young and put into the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. In 2009, John became the host of "Green Is Good", a weekly program on Alice 96.7 discussing issues about the environment and green-friendly topics.
