John Ducas (investor)

Ducas speaking at a conference John Ducas (born January 13, 1998) is a teen-aged investor and American entrepreneur.

Ducas is from New York City but currently lives in Europe with his family. At the age of 9 he started investing with play money at Marketwatch. When he was 13 his parents gave him 3,000 euros to invest, and he opened a trading account with an online broker. When he was 15 he founded a financial firm specializing in financial research called Ducas Capital Management. According to his interview with Forbes Magazine, he serves over 120 clients worldwide and acts as a sell-side analyst. His company also acts as a capital management firm.

He is a founder and partner in the Leaders Investment Club - a Global Community of young investors and entrepreneurs - and the creator of an online STOCK market instruction course called The Beginners Guide to the Stock Market with over 5000 enrolled students.

He was the youngest person on Business Insider's list of the most powerful people in finance. In addition, he is the creator and a political analyst on The Young Informer - a news and politics show with 27,000 subscribers and over 180,000 views. Ducas is also one of the youngest contributing writers to the Huffington Post.
