Joe Brockerhoff

Joe Brockerhoff, born 1952 in Leipzig, is one of the world-leading airbrush-artists. In his huge artwork he deals with digital art, sculptures, photography and cartoons. Brockerhoff has studied philosophy at the Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf and additional painting and sculpturing at the Staatliche Kunstakademie as master-student of Joseph Beuys.

Style

In colourfull visualisations, in transition of realism to surrealism, Brockerhoff is working on his most important themes of human beeings: lust, passion and peace.

Prizes and support

Joe Brockerhoff got multiple international prizes, among others in Germany, the Emirates and Japan, where his paintings were exhibited in museums, institutions and government-buildings. The Goethe-institute and Artforum Culture Foundation, but also companies like Hotels Intercontinental and Lufthansa had supported his activities world-wide.
