Irish Spring League
The Irish Spring NASCAR League is an American sim racing league functioning on NASCAR Heat 2. It is considered an amateur racing league for professional and beginning race car drivers. There are two ACTIVE series under the production of the league; The Irish Spring Cup League and the Irish Spring Xfinity League.
History
The Irish Spring NASCAR League was founded in July of 2016 by Camden Luca and collected drivers throughout the use of Instagram. It is based on the American STOCK car racing series NASCAR as drivers ran as racing stars on the sim racing game NASCAR Heat Evolution for the Playstation console. The Irish Spring Cup League was the first activated series under ISNL and is the top racing series of the league. Following the 2nd season of ISCL concluded, the Irish Spring Xfinity League (ISXL) was formed on the game NASCAR Heat 2 for the use of bringing in developing drivers who aren't yet ready for the cup level or are unable to race cup. The Irish Spring Cup League made the move to NASCAR Heat 2 at the beginning of Season 3. The league has grown tremendously since its inception as more than 60 drivers have joined the ISNL.
Irish Spring Cup League
Cup Season 1
On October 8, 2016, the Irish Spring Cup League (ISCL) kicked off the first points race with Thomas Pisani taking home the Daytona 500. Vanwesten Racing driver AJ Knickle would go on to win the season 1 drivers championship by scoring 2 victories. The season wasn't dominated by a particular driver as we had 10 different winners within the 15 races. It ended shortly before Christmas, giving the league an offseason during the holidays.
Cup Season 2
The following season was an improvement for the ISCL as the season averaged 12 drivers per race and gathered 33 drivers in total. Unlike Season 1 where we had 10 winners, Season 2 only developed 7 winners and was specifically dominated by Jaxon Austin and AJ Knickle who won a combined 10 out of the 15 races. In the end, current all time winning ISCL driver Jaxon Austin redeemed himself from season 1 playoff controversy to score the drivers championship after scoring 5 victories, tied for most on the season.
Cup Season 3
The ISCL experienced many adjustments in the previous offseason as stage racing would be introduced to the league, as well as a different playoff system. The stages would divide the race up into 2 segments and equal a race distance of 13%. The win and you're in format upheld for the 10 race regular season. The playoff system was modified into a 5 race points dash for the championship without any eliminations. 29 people signed up for Season 3. Noah Hemric kicked off the season by winning the Daytona 500 on October 8, 2017. Cole Thomas was able to bypass Hemric in wins and playoff points at the end of the regular season and became the 1st seed going into the playoffs.

Irish Spring Xfinity League
Xfinity Season 1
Following the conclusion of ISNL Season 2, a secondary league was created in an effort to gather racers who aren't yet ready for the cup league or are unable to attend cup. The Xfinity League is more simplified compared to cup, where there is no playoffs. Similar to the Irish Spring Cup League, 1 stage will be used to divide the race up and create an overall 25% distance. The series kicked off on October 8, 2017 with Cup driver Noah Hemric winning Daytona. Gabe Cazzolla became the first ever ISXL driver to win an Xfinity race at Mid Ohio in Race 2 also later winning Talladega in Race 8. Following that, JDR driver Micah Walls won 4 straight races, giving him the points lead. He went on to win 6 races in the season and the championship for JDay Team Racing, JDR’s 2nd ISNL Championship.
