The company moved its corporate headquarters to Kennesaw, Georgia in 2004. IBBS continues to operate a call center in Cartersville, Georgia. Wachovia Capital Partners formed a strategic relationship with IBBS in February 2007 and is the majority shareholder of the privately held company. Robert Buckfelder stepped down as CEO in February 2008, turning over the position to David Keil. Buckfelder currently serves as Chairman of the Board.

In an industry where low customer satisfaction is a norm, IBBS stands out with a customer recommendation of 99% and a customer satisfaction rating of 98% based on an independent January 2008 survey of over 100 IBBS customers by The McDonnell Group.
