Ima Cool Skip

Ima Cool Skip was born on January 18, 1984 and was bred by Douglas Hollifield of Marion, NC. He became one of the most INCredible halter horses and sires of all time.

Sales and Winnings

As a weanling, he was sold to Jerry Wells Quarter Horse Inc of Purcell, OK and was sold within days to JESUS ROBERTO GUERRA V of Sulfer, OK. As a weanling, he won the Open World Championship AQHA Wealing Stallions with Jerry Wells.

As a yearling, in 1985, he was sold to R G V QUARTER HORSES of Brownsville, TX and stood there for 10 years. In 1985 he won the AQHA Open World Championship in Yearling Stallions being led by Jerry Wells. Again in 1986 he won the AQHA Open World Championship in 2 year old stallions with Jerry Wells.

He earned 68 halter points and a Superior in Halter in 1986.

In 1995 he was sold to CAL LOREE AND ED MELZER of Guthrie, OK. And he was resold once more to Curtis F. Pilot of Mobile, AL in 1999.

Ima Cool Skip died in November 2002.

Foals

Ima Cool Skip was the sire of 1,328 registered AQHA horses and 710 performing foals through AQHA. He was also the sire of 27 APHA reg'd horses with 9 performing. His daughters have also proved to be incredible producers. Ima Cool Skip has the most daughters becoming broodmares to some of the most prestigious halter breeders in the country. He has several World Champion producing daughters.

He is the sire of 22,811.5 all time AQHA points, 658 PHBA halter points, and 75 IBHA halter points. Although he was known for his ability to produce world class halter horses, he was also the sire of 990 open, amateur, and youth AQHA performance points, 45 PHBA performance points, and 52 IBHA performance points. He was the sire of 82 Superior Halter earnings in Open, 28 Superior Halter earnings in Amateur, and 7 Superior Halter earnings in Youth. He was the sire of 36 AQHA World Championships and 39 Res. World Championships. He was also the sire of 5 Superior Performance earnings.
