Icons of Horror Collection - Sam Katzman

Icons of Horror Collection - Sam Katzman is a quadruple feature DVD distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment; it is the most famous of the Icons of Horror DVDs, the others including Icons of Horror Collection - Boris Karloff and Icons of Horror Collection - Hammer Films. It became a moderately popular DVD due to the exaggeration of Sam Katzman being an "icon of horror" since the films included on the DVD itself could be considered mediocre. The films included are The Giant Claw, Creature with the Atom Brain, Zombies of Mora Tau, and The Werewolf.

Films

The DVD includes four films produced by Sam Katzman, The Giant Claw, Creature with the Atom Brain, Zombies of Mora Tau, and The Werewolf. Also, the DVD includes several comedy shorts and cartoons. This DVD was popularized slightly when James Rolfe and Mike Matei discussed it when they looked through Matei's DVD collection and uploaded it to YouTube and their website, Cinemassacre, in March 2011. The total runtime of the DVD is 293 minutes.
