Ibrahim Mirzaii
Ibrahim or Ebrahim Mirzaii (Persian: ابراهیم میرزایی, b. January 28, 1940 in Gorgan, Iran - ?) was the founder of Kung Fu To'a.
Mirzaii began his career in the Iranian Army where he worked as an officer in Air Force. Beginning in the 1950s, he had shaped his unique style of Kung Fu he would name as Kung Fu To'a (کونگفو توآ), essentially a complex combination of Northern and Southern Shaolin with Yoga influences.
After the Iranian Revolution, his practice was banned. Mirzaii faced hostility from Islamic authorities, particularly for the spiritual aspects of his teaching. He was shot in his legs few years after the Revolution. Mirzaii first fled to Turkey, then to Europe and his whereabouts is still unknown. Today, his style is organised in at least ten countries around the world.
