Adeste medal

The Adeste Gold Medal is awarded annually to unsung heroes forty years of age or younger whose achievements have created outstanding benefits to humanity within the categories of humanities, social justice, technology, arts, or medicine. It is a medal of honour for those who have achieved extraordinary findings or excelled in inspiring others and assists awardees in further achieving their dreams.

Award Process

Adeste nominees are chosen by the Adeste committee’s international board. Successful awardees receive the exquisitely designed solid gold Adeste medal. A prize may be shared equally by two or more persons if it is determined that they worked together, or interacted in important ways in the awarded activity. Periodically, the committee will award an additional cash prize that embraces the on-going endeavours of an Awardee who has performed above and beyond expectation. The winner of the award is announced the following February in JOLEE magazine and on the YES! International website.

Selection Criteria

The recognized activity achieved by the candidate should be a humanitarian act of significant magnitude and may meet the criteria in a number of ways:

  • Through humanitarian acts
  • Promoting a social justice cause that positively benefits their community, country, or world
  • Advancing the ability to meet a basic need
  • Making a meaningful contribution to the field of technology, arts, or medicine.
