Iain Woods

Iain Woods (born 28 August 1986) is a singer, producer, songwriter and visual artist. He was the winner of the 2008 channel 4 talent awards in the music category for his debut EP 'Stanislavsky EP'

His music blends electronic and traditional methods of production and his tracks tell tales of love, death and contain many references to philosophy and in particular the afterlife. His sound has attracted reviews from critics "enamoured of its dirty art-school vibe" and has been play-listed on Tom Robinson's BBC6 Introducing show.

Despite having been born only in 1986, Iain has written more than six albums worth of material, with collaborations in Brighton with producers Lewis Bellwood, James Morpeth and DJ Jay Roberts leading to the production of his 'Stanislavsky EP'.
