Hyperspace Core

In the 1999 Computer game Homeworld, the Hyperspace Core is a massive device that, when properly powered and interfaced with the mothership correctly, can give the ability to 'far jump' through time and space to a designated location. There are three Hyperspacing Cores altogether, created by Sajuuk or "He whose hand shapes what is". In Homeworld 2, all three cores are in use. One is used by the Hiigarans, one by the Vaygr aggressors, and one by the Bentusi. If all three are combined, they are able to make the Sajuuk Mothership, a ship of Immense power and strength.

The Hiigaran Hyperspace Core was found aboard the Khar-Toba in the desert of Kharak, along with the Guidestone, which gave them the navigational information on how to return to their home, Hiigara. The Bentusi have had theirs for more than 6,000 years, and the Vaygr recently found theirs in an asteroid belt, and incorporated it into Makaan's FlagShip.
