Helios Eclipse
Helios Eclipse is a manga by a Malaysian female cartoonist, Kaoru. It is serialised in Starz, a submagazine of Gempakstarz on their first issue of the magazine dated on 1 June 2004. Then it was switched to Gempak which also under the same company. The manga is still unfinished while the compilation of the story in a Graphic Novel form is already at the 3rd book.
Overview
Helios Eclipse is an ongoing comic series written and drawn by Kaoru which is currently being serialized in Gempak.
History
Helios Eclipse was first being serialized in Starz, a sub-magazine of GempakStarz group but then it was changed to Gempak, the main magazine under the same company, GempakStarz. The first of its releases had caught the attention of many readers to follow the series and even fan arts were drawn and were usually submitted to GForum - a forum of GempakStarz.
Summary
There are two worlds that exist, the Magic World and The Human World. All elements in both worlds have been controlled by the Sun Ruler, Helios. In the past, Helios was skeptical on why he needs to protect the human world. So he and his brother, Luna went to the human world to see what the human world is like. With the horror of seeing the human world becoming terrible with modern technology, odd cultures, pollution and rude manners, Helios could not believe he was actually protecting it. Soon he encountered a child being accused of stealing. Helios rescued the child and found a wallet on the floor which was actually being stolen. Then when they met with the child again with his friends, Helios and Luna saw the children brutally killed a cat. Helios was angered by it and tried to destroy the children. He lost most of his element powers when releasing them to destroy the children. The elemental powers escaped to the human world.
Before darkness could take over both worlds, he must find a savior to help him find his elements then restore both worlds to a peaceful place. Unfortunately, there is a villain from the Dark World trying to interfere and wanted to rule over the Magic World. He sends henchmen and minions to create chaos and destroy Helios's plans.
Helios reached to the human world again to find a prophesized savior. He was being chased by the Dark World's henchmen. With his weak powers, he battled out with the enemies and he accidentally met with a human girl, Mineko, which actually was his prophesized savior.
Story Arc
Human World Arc
Mineko found a mystery teenage boy who fall upon her. She bring him home and heal him. Because of that, she late to school. Then she is punished by his History Teacher who is also his brother. Then Tooru, her childhood friend come and tease her. Then come along Kazura, who is also her friend and release Mineko go by her brother's permission. Mineko come back from school and then realize that boy is gone. Suddenly the boy come from the window and attacking Mineko.
Mineko was shocked. Suddenly the boy transform into a kid and then Tooru come and attack the kid. Mineko stop them and lie to them AbOUT the kid. Tooru didn't believe but Kazura ask Tooru to leave and Kazura said she trust her. Mineko taking a deep breath and ask the kid his identity. The kid introduced himself as Helios, the ruler of the magic world and was come to human world to find the savior. Mineko trust him and promise him to find the savior. The next morning, Helios and Mineko going out to search for the savior.
Helios begin to create the magic field to find the savior. But then because of Helios's weak power, the magic field become unstable. Mineko terrified and suddenly she hug Helios. The sun become bright again. (Sun represent Helios's Power) Then Helios figure out that Mineko is the savior all along. Meanwhile Tooru and Kazura follow them. Then they were busted by Tooru. Helios have a bad feeling and tells Mineko to go home. They go home and realize Mineko's brother being knocked out by a sinister cat boy.
Then the cat boy sees Helios and surprised. Actually Helios is his master. Then Tooru feel weird suddenly with those unknown event and words. Suddenly, Kazura says something even weirder and stab Tooru with her weapon.
Mineko was shocked by Kazura's act and confused. Meanwhile, the cat boy(Spade) start the battle with Kazura. Then it all become clear when Kazura reveal his true identity as a Dark Wizard name Louis trying to interrupt Helios's mission. Spade is almost defeated by Kazura then suddenly a fire blast from Helios attack and injured Kazura. Helios return to Second Level Form and want to kill Louis. But Tooru stops Helios by using his body. Louis push Tooru away. Then when Helios want to kill him, suddenly a dark power come and rescue Louis. A girl in gothic outfit and pale skin bring Louis and warn Helios about the Darkross. Then she realize Mineko is befriend with Louis and assume Mineko is interesting person.
In order to save Tooru's life, Mineko have to make one agreement with Helios and Spade, her existence in this human world will be erased and also she have to come with them to magic world. Mineko agree and leave the human world behind.
Magic World Arc
Mineko realize in Magic World, everyone hate human race because of the prophecy. But Princess Moragana adviced her do not give up since she chose this path. Darkross is getting closer as Helios and others fight them, but it was useless. As the last resort to save human world, Mineko sacrifice herself.
14 years ago, when Helios and Luna visit human world, they found a boy name Toroya. They think even human always destroy and pollute nature, they have to protect The New generation for a better future. But their thoughts were very wrong. Toroya's act of slaughtering cat change Helios's thought about human. Helios release most of his power due to their despicable act. So Helios think Mineko is also the same, thought that she is also hypocrite and only want Helios to thank to her because saving his life. Then come Moragana who possess Heart's body, transforming into original form (First Level) and give Phoenix to Mineko in order to bring her back to life.
Element Quest Arc
This arc tells about Mineko who is reborn and give new mission to search Helios lost element. She also being told that Moragana is dead because when Phoenix is given to bring back people to life, the Phoenix ask payment from the user which is user's life. Mineko feel sad and promise that she always be with Helios no matter what happen.
Thus, begin a new adventure for Helios, Mineko and others to search for the element that look likes human figure. They registered themselves in new schools where they were introduce to Miraa, a student figure in that school. As time goes by, Mineko is apart from Helios, and he become closer with Miraa. In loneliness, Mineko find her childhood friend, Tooru who had his memory erased about Mineko. They become close again, but just then, mysterious case happen when pretty girl become a victim of rumoured ghost. They investigate the matter that maybe lead to the element.
Then Mineko heard Helios being attacked too. Then she rush to the scene by the guide of Miraa. But actually Miraa is the puppeteer all along. She set them up and hurt those victim in order to kill Mineko. Mineko was surprised and had no idea why she do that. Miraa explain that she had crush on Helios since on the first day they met. But then, Mineko was saved by Helios and the others and Miraa reveal her true identity as Helios's element. After had a tough battle, Miraa surrender and acknowledge Helios as her master.
The Gathering(Interlude)
After getting Miraa, they celebrate in the festival held at their place. They all gather together and have fun. Meanwhile, Luna get close to Mineko, in order to congratulate her for succeed in getting fire element, Miraa and also gaining their trust.
Rabbit Man Arc
Helios and others(except Mineko) going to the magic world in order to check what is happening in Magic World, and also monitoring Darkross. Mineko want to go with Helios because she promised to be with him always and help him wherever needed. He just smile and give her a kiss at her cheek. Then Helios ask Louis to take care of Mineko while he is away.
Tooru noticed Mineko is sad with Helios departure, so he trying to cheer her up by buying her cake at Kaoru's Cake House. Mineko become cheer again and ask Tooru to accompany her. In there, while they joining their time eating cakes, there's a group of weird looking people and Louis feel terrified. They introduced themselves as Dark Wizard and attack them. Then they (included Tooru) was forced to play a game in 1/3 Dimension where each of them have to play different game and win in order to get out. Mineko and Louis was succeed except Tooru, who become a doll to Toroya. They also explain that they absorb Helios's element and tell Louis in order to bring back Maryvessa, the answers lies in Mineko's body.
Just after the battle, Helios come back and wounded. Then they go back to base and Helios explain that they were ambushed by Darkross. Then Louis explain that he know the three wizard they just fought. They are the high wizard which have the same level as Maryvessa and was use as secret weapon.
In the Dark Castle, Toroya, Arisu and Sangatsu back with empty handed. LUCIFER was so furious that he attack Toroya. But Toroya was so powerful, that Lucifer cannot defeated him and nearly get kill. They were stop by their leader, which is Soileh, Helios's 'Shadow'
The Keeper Arc
Mineko try to locate and find a way to save Luna and the others. But Helios ignored her and she realize Helios was not like before. Then she take a walk around school where she found weird room. She entered the room, and just then the two people show up. They introduced themselves as The Keeper who can grant any wish but in order to get it, The Catcher must pass a test first. If failed, The Keeper will take valuable thing from The Catcher. At first, Mineko trying to run away but then when she walks out from the room, she realize she is in 1/3 Dimension. So Mineko take the test in order to escape 1/3 Dimension. She failed the test due to lack of magic skill. Mineko fight them but defeated. Mineko cried for Helios's help. Just when they want to take the valuable thing from Mineko, a blast of dark magic pierced the 1/3 Dimension.
Louis take Mineko back from them and bring back home. Mineko feel frustrated because Helios didn't come to save her. Then she met Helios, and slap him. She crying and run to the backyard of school. Then she realized it is getting dark even though it is evening. She thought maybe Helios is in trouble. Just then she realize actually Helios she sees is Luna, who is disguised as Helios all along so that Mineko won't worry about Helios. Then Darkross Appear together with Lucifer, attack them. Luna battle Lucifer and Lucifer defeated while Mineko is trapped in rock shelter built by Luna. Then Toroya appear and battle Luna. Luna use all his might to defeated him. Lastly, he uses the purification element as the last resort and call up Kekimuru(earth element) in order to defeat Toroya. Instead, the earth element attack his user and Luna get killed because of that. The magic field become weaker and Mineko free from the rock shelter. The Keeper just come in time with Louis to help Luna.
Mineko crying because Luna sacrificed himself to protect her. Luna said the last word, asking Louis to take care of Mineko and want to say something to Mineko, but then he keep it in his heart. Then he close his eye and Helios doesn't feel his presence anymore.
Meanwhile Helios being captured by Dark Wizard and caged in the prison. He found a strange Keeper name Eddy who offer him help. He had no choice but to trust him in order to escape.
In human world, Mineko changed since Luna's death. She promise to bring back Luna's spirit to Magic World and return the element to Helios. She ask The Keeper to take care of human world with Louis. Thus, begin Mineko's quest to the Magic World.
Magic War Arc
Mineko begin a new journey alone in Magic World. In there, they found a girl similar to Spade. She introduce herself as Mika and guide Mineko to Spade and the other guardian's hometown, Animal World. Like Magic People in Magic Kingdom, they also hate human because they believe human is dangerous. Then Mineko trying to explain everything but they didn't hear. Suddenly a barrier protect Mineko from being attack. But when Mineko said she knows Spade, a woman besides Mika said that Spade is his husband. Then the Animal resident welcome Mineko with warm welcome and was asked to rest in Mika's house. Spade's wife introduce herself as Melly. Mineko was treated as their own family. Then Mineko realize it is not safe to be there because Dark Wizard hunting for her. So she continue her journey to the Magic Kingdom.
In Fire Valley, Helios and Eddy asking for Fire Kingdom's help in order to fight Darkross. But Fire's ruler refuse as they think Helios want to take their kingdom. Then Helios made an agreement to them.
While in Dark World, Soileh is prepared to take over the Magic World by capturing the Phoenix Girl (that is Mineko) with his trustful minion, Toroya, Arisu and Sangatsu. There were order to search her in Human World, not knowing that Mineko is already in Magic World.
The Keeper have to fight Soileh and the others while Louis confronts Arisu, which is his greatest rival and enemy.
When Mineko travelled more and remain in Magic World, she keep growing and growing without Helios's protection.
Royal Conflict Arc
After Mineko and Evillina being save by Helios from Toroya, he brings them back to Magic Kingdom. The secret between The Keeper is slightly reveal when Syn heard Eddy and Evillina conversation that they know each other, making Syn more suspicious of them. Meanwhile, Mineko is in comma state, having the bad dream about Luna, and feel remorse about Luna's death and blame herself for that.
Louis on the other hand, transport himself to the magic world to warn Mineko about Soileh's plan. But he was fainted and fall in Magic Town. He was save by a girl name Phoebe, who resembles Maryvessa. He ask her to help him give a warning letter to Mineko. Phoebe then give to her bestfriend who work in Magic Castle.
Diamond on the other hand, feel even more hatred to Mineko. She blame Mineko for all this tragedy. When Mineko wake up and being bring to walk around the garden with Diamond, she trying to kill Mineko by pushing her down the stairs. But her act was notice by Club, and he stop Diamond from doing so. He explain to Diamond that Mineko isn't the one to blame. Instead he blame himself for not being there when Luna needed him. Diamond ignored the explanation and trying to set Mineko up. Then she found the letter Louis trying to give to Mineko, and she takes the letter from Phoebe's friend. She arrested Louis for being a Dark Wizard. Louis trying to escape using his magic, but it is useless since he is in Magic World. (Dark Magic cannot work in Magic World unless Helios's magic is decrease or in Darkross Day). So Louis surrender and being arrested.
Meanwhile, Mineko having a nightmare. She saw Luna fall down the cliff. Then she wakes up when Helios hold her hand. Mineko crying and Helios trying to comfort him. After Mineko is calm again. Helios relieved seeing Mineko all right, then he want to leave the room so Mineko will not be disturbed. Suddenly, Mineko said her true feeling towards Helios. She ask him not to leave her again because she loves him. Mineko became blushed by her statement. She trying to denied it but Helios approach her, hold her in his hand. He bites Mineko's finger and ear as a mark from him, and confess his feelings towards Mineko. He promised to her that he will be back from Water Valley before the mark is gone because he want to ask Water's ruler to join him fighting Dark World. Mineko believes his promise and wait till Helios come back.
Helios departed from Magic World accompany by Syn and Eddy. Helios ask Spade to take care of Mineko while he is gone, and protect Magic World no matter what. Melly accidentally see Helios's mark in Mineko's finger and ears and announced their love. Helios and Mineko blushed and never look each other. Meanwhile the others happy for both of them after all they when through.
Helios arrived at lake, but then he was kidnapped by a mystery woman. The woman trying to warn him about the danger in the lake, but he ignores her warning. Meanwhile Syn and Eddy is eaten by a large koi fish who protected the Water Valley. Then Helios understand what that woman trying to say. He fight the koi fish but suddenly it was blowed from inside. Syn and Eddy escape from the koi fish and their relationship become stronger although at first Syn didn't trust Eddy. Syn found something weird while under the lake. They swim underneath the lake and found the portal to Water Valley.
Then they meet Water Valley's ruler, Queen Countessa, who is also Helios good friend. Countessa already fall in love in first sight, even though at that time her father forbidden them to meet. Helios asking for Countessa's help in order to fight Dark World. Countessa agree by one condition, he must married her. Although it is hard for Helios to do it, finally he agree in order to save Magic World. They swimmed back to the surface while Countessa perform the magic barrier to protect Water Valley.
At the Magic Kingdom, Mineko was shocked to heard that Louis alive and being prisoned. Mineko isn't satisfied by Louis's punishment, so she rush to come to the dungeon to see Louis. When she come, she sees Louis being tortured by Diamond. Mineko ask Diamond what is his fault, Diamond answered that he is cannot be trusted since he is from Dark World. Diamond also blame Mineko for all this to happen and still want to kill Mineko. But her act is stopped by Spade and Club who arrived just in time. Diamond surrender. Then Louis is bring back to prison, and Mineko wonder. Spade said that he is not safe to Magic World if he isn't in prison, before Helios come back.
On the way back to Magic World, Helios saw Louis and Mineko being together. Suddenly, Helios feel jealous by their meeting and ask Syn and Eddy to speed up their journey.
Just then, the Dark Minion together with Soileh and his Dark Wizard, attack Magic Castle. Spade and the other guardian fight for their life to protect Magic Castle, but they were too strong. Suddenly, the hidden power of Phoenix rise from Mineko's body and destroy everything in its path. Soileh and the others back off, escape the fury of Phoenix as they planning their next move to get the Phoenix. Mineko fainted. Then Helios come just seeing Mineko's fainted. He stare Louis in despise look.
After Mineko wakes up, Mineko decided to be in the prison together with Louis, protest that Louis is guilty. In prison, Louis trying to see Mineko's back to make sure what was happened and shocked because the Phoenix is starting to grow by looking at the Wing's mark at her back. Helios know about this and furious with Louis's relationship with Mineko getting close. Helios then dragged Mineko out from prison and bring her upstairs to his room. Helios said to Mineko not to get too close to Louis as he is becoming threat to Magic World. Mineko thought this is nonsense and he just making this up because he is jealous. Helios accused her for not being honested and they quarrel. Countessa arrive at that time and asking Helios to calm down. Then Helios said that she forgive Mineko because of Countessa. Then Mineko get jealous and tell Helios that she want to going back to Human World with Louis. Helios silenced and shocked by that statement. Then he dragged Mineko into his room, ignoring Countessa. In his room, Mineko struggling to get away from Helios. Just then, suddenly Mineko fainted for unknown reason. Helios put her on the bed and give her the gold bracelet.
Countessa is jealous by Helios action and hate Mineko for snatching her becoming bride. At that night, she sneak out from the castle to the secret meeting behind the forest. Then she meet the other leader of Earth and Wood Valley and also Dark World's ruler, Soileh with his trustful companion, Toroya. They begin the plot to destroy the Magic World and also Helios. But Countessa ask them that Helios will not be hurted in the process. They making the fake agreement with Countessa that they agree not to hurt him, with a condition that she must make Helios seperate with the others (in other word, break them down).
While the Magic Kingdom making preparation for the Royal Wedding, a mystery girl from the lake that Helios meet mysteriously come on a mission.
Protagonists
Main characters
Helios
He is one of three great rulers in the Magic World and resembles the sign of the sun. He is also the main source of the Magic World. His is quiet and does not trust people easily, especially humans. While searching for a savior, he accidentally found Mineko, and that has changed his perspective about humans. Later, he develops feelings to Mineko in silence.
Mineko
She is selected as the savior of both worlds. She is very naive, cheerful and always energetic. But as she travels with Helios, she became more emotional. She had a crush on Helios and trusts friends no matter how they changed. She sacrificed herself to save the Magic World from darkness but was revived again by Moragana using her Rebirth Bird. She was also given powers by Syn II since she was the prophesized savior. The phoenix in her has become the target of The Dark World.
Luna
Brother of Helios, and resembles the sign of the moon. Luna is a quiet, cool and kind character that sees things in a neutral state. He always stood by his brother in fights, battles, and even when Helios is confused of his purpose. Luna has the ability to read people's minds by touching them. He would sacrifice his life to save anyone he loved. He promised Helios to protect Mineko from the Dark World. He seems to be secretly in love with Mineko and died protecting her.
Kazura/Louis
Kazura is Mineko's best friend. Kazura protects Mineko from being bullied in school and always acts wisely. They are really close to each other like sisters. But Kazura was in fact a henchmen sent by the Dark World to stop Helios from gathering all the elements. Kazura is only a cover from his real identity.
Louis is the real identity of Kazura. He has the power of shape-shifting. He can switch to other personalities whenever he likes. He was not human since the day he was found by a Dark World minion, Maryvessa. There is no information on where he came from. He is very clever because he can always think of a suitable strategy before a battle.
Four Aces of Royal Guardian
Spade
He is the guardian of Helios. His weapon is a Spoon that can throw magical auras. He looks like a naughty kid but actually he is a very caring person. He is the only Guardian with a collar on his neck. He has a wife and a daughter, Mika.
Club
He is the guardian of Luna. His weapon is a Fork but he Seldom uses it. He usually hangs out with Spade if there is no work. Also he is described as the laziest Guardian of all four based on an Easter Egg's story in the First Volume of the Manga. Later in the story it was revealed that he had a crush on Diamond.
Heart
She is the guardian of Moragana. Her weapon is a Dinner Knife. There is not much information about her except that she is Diamond's older sister. She is very persistent and only obeys her master.
Diamond
She is the guardian of Syn II. Her weapon is a Spatula (based on the picture in Helios Eclipse:Prologue chapter divider) and has the ability to heal. She is really quite shy and quiet but later on she become rebellious and tries to kill Mineko because she believed all the catastrophe was caused by Mineko.
Villains
Soileh
He is the mastermind to all the chaos that happens in both worlds. He sets a plot Inside the Magic World itself so that he can easily inflitrate the Magic Castle and take over the Magic World. His main target now is to after Mineko to obtain the Phoenix which has a great power. Actually, he is created at the same time with Helios, and share the same mind. He also known as Helios's 'shadow'.
Henchmen of the Dark World
Maryvessa
Sister to Syn II. She escaped from Helios after a tragedic incident that involves her parents. Some change has happened to her body after the tragedy and she escaped to the Dark World. After a while, she found Louis and changed him. She wants destruction over the Magic World and free his brother. But in the end was being killed by Helios because of her obsession to take over the Magic World. Her soul seems to still alive in a puppet that she always carry.
Malady
A henchmen under Maryvessa. She uses chains to attack and fights along side with Lucifer. Not much information is said about her after Maryvessa was killed.
Lucifer
Also a henchmen under Maryvessa. His primary weapon is a sword and he can summon Darkross armies also. He likes to underestimate his opponents without knowing their capabilities. After Maryvessa is killed, he works under Solieh.
Toroya
At appearance, he looks like a sinister. His heart become heartless for some unknown reason. 14 years ago, he met Helios for the first time when Helios visits the human world. But then because of certain scenarios, he was destroyed by Helios's element and vanished. But then he came back and realized that he obtain one of Helios's element, Wood. He likes to wear bunny ear's on his head.
Arisu
He is one of the most silent characters in the group of three. Seldoms smile but has a naughty characteristic inside him. He also meet Helios 14 years ago and absorbs one of Helios's element, Water. He is often being seen wearing gothic styled outfits because of his appearance.
Sangatsu
He is one of the cheerful characters among the henchmen. He usually likes to eat but dislike his 'fat' appearance. He is rather nice than his fellow companions but yet he follow the darkness for some reason. He also meet Helios 14 years ago and absorbs one of Helios's element, Wind. He always wear normal human outfits most of the time.
Other characters
Magic World
Moragana
She is one of the three rulers in Magic Kingdom. She possesses the power of prediction and once had the Rebirth Bird inside her. Her worst fear is her prediction that all the creatures in the Magic Land are going to be destroyed by humans. She also predicts that only Mineko can save Magic World and helps Helios find his elements back. In quiet, she loves Helios.
Syn II
He is the one of three rulers in Magic Kingdom. He takes over his father's throne, Syn I and possesses the power of manipulating time. He can't grow because of a spell and just binds in his castle to PReVENT him to go to the darkside. At first, Syn hated Helios because of what he has done to his family but later on he realizes that actually Helios saved him and his family good name
Leader of Element Valley
Princess Countessa
She is the leader of Water Valley and also becoming bride of Helios. She was so in love with Helios that she will do anything to get him. Actually she is one of 3 unknown shadow who was helping Soileh all the way.
Human World
Tooru
He is one of Mineko's bestfriend since childhood. His father is a Judo expert and owns a Judo academy. He is described as an ACTIVE person and likes sports. He protects his friends from danger at any costs. He also had a crush on Mineko. During a trip to Kaoru's Cake House, he met with Toroya, Arisu, and Sangatsu. Toroya took Tooru into a dimension and tricked him, turing him into a puppet in the end.
The Keepers
The keeper are Magicians that use their own powers for their own reasons. They are not related to the Dark World and the Magic World. They sometimes challenge a Magician to get what they want. If they lose, they give the Magician in return of something. Some offer something to a Magician for an unforetold price.
Evilina
She is a Keeper that stays and hides in the Human World. She used the 1/3 Dimension to cover herself from humans and also forms a weird club called the 'Dark Cooking Club'. Her power is absorption which she can absorb surrounding elements around her. She is also capable in making potions and weapons.
Gothman
A follower of Evilina. He has fox ears, a tail and a collar that looks like Spade's. He follows wherever Evilina goes. His power is agility.
Eddy
He is a mysterious and strange Keeper. His powers are yet to he unknown. He is capable in healing just like Mineko. He also like cute things. He usually teases 'his favourite subjects' like Helios and Syn II when they are in child form. He helped Helios escape and follows Helios wherever he goes.
Elements
There are basically 5 elements in the story. The story uses more to Chinese Elements and these Elements are in creature forms.
Fire Element - Miraa
The Fire Element and the most hot headded element. She disguised herself as a human in the Human World. Since Helios lost his elements around 14 years efore the plot, Luna states that the Sakura International School should be a target to finding Miraa, since she is most probably disguised as a schoolgirl. She is capable of controlling ghosts outside and when she is in her true form, she uses fire based attacks on her enemies. She later joins Helios back because of Mineko's kindness to her. Her form is like a human but with flames as her hair.
Earth Element - Kekimuru
The Earth Element's name is Kekimuru (As describe in Helios Eclipse:Ternion sketch page). It was first inside Helios for all along and it was passed down to Luna for emergency use in battle. The Earth Element takes most of the users Magic Powers for an attack called 'purification'. Luna failed to control the Earth Element and it went wild. Having being freed and the thirst to kill, he injured Luna but then knocked down by Evilina. Then it was passed down to Mineko to bring it back to the Magic World.
Water Element - Shinawara
Element is being held inside Arisu. The water element is in human form.
Wood Element - Minchinini
Toroya has this element hidden under his eye patch. The wood element is a small pet creature.
Wind Element
Sangatsu carries the element behind him like a bag. The wind element is a big round pink egg with wings.
Terms
There are terms in Helios Eclipse world:
MP
Magic Point which is the magic source for wizard. When their MP is becoming weak, they become kid form, opposite with human growth.
1/3 Dimension
A dimension which can only be controlled by the user. Anything that happen in the 1/3 Dimension is based on user imagination. The person who trapped in this dimension cannot get out without user's permission or doesn't follow the user's rule (Except when Mineko use her power fighting Miraa). This is only can be use by user who has element purification, the element itself or higher wizard (Like The Keeper).
Darkross
The shadow that comes from Dark World. Will swallow everything in its path.
Darkross Day
The eighth day of the week. This day doesn't appear in human world because this day, the Time element rest and stopped all movement in human world. In this day, Darkross will attack Magic World.
Prophecy
In Moragana's prophecy, human is the Ultimate Chaos for Magic World if they enter the Magic World. Ironically, only one savior can save them and that savior is Mineko, who is human.
The Catcher
A Magician/Wizard who wish to take The Keeper's test. If failed, The Keeper will take something precious from The Catcher.
Element Purification
The true form of element. This is the most powerful and ultimate power of the element.
Phoenix/Rebirth Bird
A creature who live in Moragana's body. It is capable to bring back people to life, but as a price, the creature take user's life. This creature then take the host of the revive person that contain the original user's soul(Moragana). This creature believes can cause massive destruction and ultimately destroy the world.
Worlds
Although there are two main worlds in this story, there are sub-places in both worlds as well.
Magic World
Magic World is a place where all elements and magic creature lives. There are several sub-places:
-Animal World
-Fire Valley
-Earth Valley
-Water Valley
-Wind Valley
-Dark World
Human World
Although Human World don't have several sub-world like Magic World, still there are some places the characters mainly visit:
-Mineko's House
-Sakura International School
-Kaoru's Cake House (there is also a comic about this cake house also drawn by Kaoru)
-School park
-Japanese's festival (not quite sure where it was)
-Helios's Main Base in Human World (a place that looks like a Japanese House)
System Of Growth in Magic World
In Magic World, Magic resident or Wizard have 3 stages of growth. It is based on their MP remain in their body. Their growth are different from human.
First Stage/Level Form
In this stage, they are in full strength. Meaning they doesn't need healing and can perform greater magic. This stage also can be called mature/adult stage.
Second Stage/Level Form
At this stage, they transform into a teenager look and their MP is moderate. However if wizard continuously use their magic, they will transform into third Stage. That is why in this stage, healing magic is needed.
Third Stage/Level Form
This is the crucial state of Wizard and Magic Resident. When they low on MP, they will change into child form and their magic skill are limited. If they lose all their MP, they will die.
Human Growth in Magic World
Different than Magic Resident and Wizard, (included Dark Wizard), human growth is from childhood to adult. But when they were in the magic world, their growth is accelerated due to different time dimension between human and magic world. If they didn't have any magic protection, they will die quickly because of growth acceleration or didn't have MP to protect them. (Mineko can survive because she also become wizard when she receive Syn's Magic)
Dark Wizard Growth
They didn't growth so much. But when they low on MP, their haircolor turn white (Example like Louis). Their MP is Dark power which is different from Wizard's MP.
Even so, in exceptional case, Moragana can transform from Third Stage into First Stage in order to perform Phoenix. But this act is considered [...] by Wizard because she suppress her remaining low MP and possess other wizard for transforming.
Easter's Egg Chapter
This chapter is included only in Helios Eclipse:Prologue. It happens when the guardians get dumplings from the human world.There were only 3 dumplings left but there were 4 to feed. So Spade suggests that the guardian who served his/her master the most gets the dumplings. Club doesn't get the dumplings because he just eats and plays everyday.
