Harold Graziano
Harold Albert Graziano (Graz) (born 1958) is an American veteran and businessman. He is best known for his achievements in the US Army as well as his work as a 'civilian' in Afghanistan over several years. He is credited as being a member of a very select group of senior Coalition and Afghan leaders that aided the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan reorganize the Afghan military in 2010-2011.
Biography
In his earlier life, Harold (Graz) Graziano received a B.A. in history of education at the University of Tampa, a master’s degree in logistics management from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a M.S. in national security policy from the National Defense University. He is best known for vast service to the United States military where he served in both senior command and staff positions. He is also known for the thesis of his master's in national security policy entitled "The U.S. Army: America's Strategic Land Force for the 1990s and Beyond," which can be found on public policy website GlobalSecurity.org.
Graziano spent 24 years in the United States Army in senior staff and command positions. Graziano also was a business development consultant in his firm, Graziano & Associates Consulting. He has also held the position of vice president of business at DRS Technologies and director of business development and strategic planning at General Dynamics.
Graziano has most recently worked as the Senior Advisor to two Chiefs of Staff of the Afghan National Army. In this capacity, he leveraged his vast tactical and strategic experience to advise senior Afghan leaders as they confronted the many challenges of a struggling democracy while fighting an insurgency. He has been recognized by both Afghan and Coalition senior leaders for his contributions.
Prior to this, he worked for Irvine Sensors Corporation (www.irvine-sensors.com), a company headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. Upon hiring Harold Graziano, President and CEO of Irvine Sensors John Carson exclaimed, "We have already benefited from Graz’s insight and advice as a consultant, and I look forward to having him focused on our business development prospects full time."

Graziano is a highly decorated Army veteran. He has been recognized for his work in Afghanistan by both the Afghan and U.S. governments. He has also been recognized during his business ventures as well.
